Data Entry Specialist
Full Time Position
JOB TITLE: Data Entry Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Data Specialist collects and enters data into multiple databases, maintains accurate records of sensitive and valuable organization information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Achieving the organization’s goals by completing assigned tasks on time
-
Complying with data integrity and security policies
-
Printing and or scanning files/documents
-
Generating reports
-
Preparing documents for data entry
-
Work closely with the Chief Operations Officer
-
Prepare data reports for Executive Staff, funders, or other requested needs
-
Transfer data between multiple computer databases
-
Transfer data from computer or paper files into computer databases
-
Creating spreadsheets without errors
-
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
-
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
-
Sort and organize paperwork after data entry to ensure it is filed properly and not misplaced.
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Data entry work experience
-
Experience with Microsoft Office programs
-
Basic understanding of data base processes
-
Experience with administrative duties
-
Able to use office equipment such as a printer and scanner
-
Proficient and fast typing skills
-
Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Detail oriented
-
Organization skills
-
Ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
-
Maintain high levels of confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
-
Lived experience in recovery preferred.
-
If in recovery, must have a minimum of two years in active recovery with continual involvement in a recovery program.

PAY RATE AND HOURS
Full Time Position: 40 hours per week
Starting: $14.00 per hour
