Recovery Receptionist
Full Time Position

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Peer Recovery Receptionist will:

Greet and welcome RCO guests and participants to the recovery center.

Provide information to guests and participants, i.e., RCO services, meetings, coaching, SOAR, etc.

Gather information from guest/participant and provide appropriate referral information.

Alert staff when guest/participant is waiting to be seen.

Answer all incoming calls and direct to the appropriate staff person.

Take phone messages, check voice mail, and forward messages to the correct staff person.

Assist with keeping the RCO clean and neat.

Complete tasks assigned by supervisor, i.e., filing, data entry, call back, etc.

Attend staff meetings, training, community events/meetings when necessary.

Call participants to remind them of upcoming appointments.

Other tasks that may be assigned by a supervisor.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Must have lived experience as a consumer of substance use and or mental health services.
-
Must have a minimum of two years in active recovery with continual involvement in a recovery program.

To be considered for employment, you will be required to undergo a criminal background check, employment/personal references check, and drug screening.

PAY RATE AND HOURS:
Full Time Position: 40 hours per week
Starting: $13.00 per hour
