Jamie Forcier

Jamie is a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist with lived experience in co-occurring disorders. Jamie is also a loved one of multiple people struggling with substance use disorder. Having lost her husband July 14, 2021 to his addiction, she has become even more passionate about helping others struggling with mental health and substance use disorder. Seeing her mom and husband struggle with reentering society after prison, she advocates for prison reform and equitable resources and support for those reentering society. Jamie also works as the Assistant Shelter Director for the Onslow Women’s Center, a non-profit domestic violence/sexual assault agency.
